About Us

We’re a French Canadian family of four—Alice, Julie, Rose, and Simon—who left behind a conventional life in 2014 to embrace a simpler, nomadic lifestyle on the water. With a passion for windsurfing and the ocean, we sold everything and embarked on a journey of exploration, eventually finding our home in Nibi.

Although we had never sailed before, our love for the wind gave us the confidence to learn. Nibi became more than just a boat; she became the heart of our adventure. Together, we sailed along Mexico’s Pacific coast and the Sea of Cortez, discovering remote beaches, fishing, surfing, and connecting deeply with nature.

For our daughters, Nibi has been a world of discovery. Alice, only three when we set out, grew into a fearless explorer, while Rose thrived in her role as an active crew member, helping with sailing maneuvers and daily tasks. Together, we’ve lived a life grounded in adventure and exploration, with Nibi as our floating home.

Nibi was built for long offshore voyages, but as our lives have evolved, we feel it’s time for someone new to continue her journey. After much reflection, we’re ready to pass Nibi on to someone who will make new memories aboard her and continue exploring the world.

For six unforgettable years, Nibi has carried us across the seas. As we move on to the next chapter of our lives, Nibi is ready to become part of your story.
