About the Catana 39 (1993)

The iconic Catana 39 is a fast, lightweight French cruiser designed by Lock Crowther for serious offshore sailing. Its slender hulls and daggerboards ensure excellent upwind performance, offering precise control and stability. With a 1993 design featuring mahogany accents, it comfortably accommodates up to eight people, making it ideal for long voyages. Renowned for its direct tiller steering and high bridge clearance, this catamaran ensures smooth, stable navigation even in challenging seas.

Nibi, a Catana 39, is designed to deliver exceptional sailing in all wind conditions, particularly in light winds, thanks to its complete sail plan, including a new Screecher. This catamaran allows you to explore autonomously, wherever your journey takes you.

The upgraded electrical system, featuring lithium batteries and solar panels, ensures long-term autonomy. The robust integrated autopilot and watermaker make extended off-grid cruising a reality.

Nibi’s anchorage system is highly reliable, offering multiple options to ensure maximum safety in any conditions.

While practical for sleeping, Nibi does not prioritize comfort but excels in taking you wherever you want to go. Safety, performance, and exploration are at the core of the Nibi experience.
